DESIGNING YOUR OWN JEWELRY

At Yentho-Jewelry we want to bring you jewelry that is special to you. Something designed and thought of by you to give it that personal feeling. This ofcourse requires input from you as to what this piece should look like, after all it's your design. Designing your own piece of jewelry may sound difficult but it's not as hard as you may think. Besides the ideas you have we will help you with what it will look like in the end. You know what you want, and we know if this is possible. But let's start at the beginning.

FROM YOUR MIND TO A SKETCH.

It all starts with the concept in your mind. Ofcourse we do not know what your concept is so this will be the first step, provide us with information. A drawing of what you want is the best way to start. This doesn't have to be a professional drawing and it could even exist of seperate ideas, but for us seeing this will give us an idea of what you want. Besides a drawing and general information of the idea, your thoughts, influences or even stories can help us get a clearer idea of what you are looking for and if necessary we can put this together in a new drawing. Sizes, materials and gemstones are the next step. Gold? Silver? Diamonds? Rubies? let us know your wishes.

3D DESIGN

After we have gathered information and have a clear idea of what your piece should look like, we will start creating this piece in a 3dprogram. With this 3d drawing we can show you even better what the ring will look like through a rendered image. A render is a realistic picture with the materials, gemstones and sizes that were discussed. This finished 3d design can be printed and ordered as a dummy of the product. This grants you the ability to see your design up close and check if it's the correct size. In this stage adjustments and changes can still be made until you are completely satisfied with the design.

PRINTING, CASTING and FINISHING.

When you are completely satisfied with your design, we will begin manufacturing the product. First we will 3d print the design into a physical product of wax that we can use for casting. Through a burning procedure we make a perfect mold of the design that can be cast in the desired material. When this step is done we can start with the finishing touches like removing unwanted material from casting, softening sharp edges where needed and polishing (if requested as finish). The last thing we do is carefully put in the desired gemstones to complete your personal piece.
